good sound for my 307
hey everybody i just have one question. is it possible to get a good sound out of a 307 engine with a glasspack? because i know its one of chevys smallest v8s. i just didnt want to buy one and get no sound from it.

You're not going to have good sound with "A" glasspack.Most single exhuast will be louder but not what I think you're expecting.You should consider a dual exhuast.The sound you get will be as much from an exhuast system as the engine but without duals and more particulars we can't help much.

Dual exhaust, chambered mufflers, mild cam, 9.5-1 compression and any of the generals small blocks will sound great, and run pretty decent too.

You will have to run a full dual exhaust system with glasspacks to get the best sound. And as said even the smallest of Chevy V8s sound great with a dual setup. Of course there will be those who say some other muffler sounds better. Everybody has their favorite. I share your choice of gp sound preference.
