Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I wire wheeled the underside of my bed, primed it with 2 coats of Rust Bullet, and added 2 more coats of role on bedliner for undercoating and sound.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Finished engine and transmission install after rebuilding this winter. Worked out about 90% of the kinks that come with installing new and different parts... Vortec heads, new carb, new radiator, hoses, and all the Misc stuff. Oh yeah and then there was the heater core that couldn't handle the new install and started puking coolant everywhere. That will be next....

I love the Voodoo cam and the sound that comes with it. Almost wish I went with a little more rough idle cam but this has a ton of power to go along with the new heads. It still had the original motor in it when it came out and I absolutely love having the torque and hp that this truck was meant to have!

Drove it for about 2hrs home after getting every broke in. Took the long way home just to enjoy and get it all set.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Got my vintage license plate project kicked off. Had one set for a passenger car and got a couple more sets cheap off ebay. Gonna paint them all and if they turn out good will sell two sets and use one for myself.

Dude! I can just picture those plates looking like that last picture, right after a bunch of cats in striped jumpsuits took them out of the press at the Huntsville unit 43 years ago!

You hit the nail on the head. These are the same plates that came with the Huntsville prison rodeo flyer separator sheet on them.
