Brake Line Question
I am in the process of swapping my 68 GMC over to front discs, and the donor truck that I have gotten my parts off of is an 87 model. The brake lines coming out of the MC on the donor truck had two loops in it do I need to keep the loops even though I am going to mount the prop valve in the same location as the factory 68 valve was. or can I just come straight out of the prop valve without the loops.

Re: Brake Line Question
Without a picture I am assuming that the loops you are referring to are when the brake lines sometimes have a coil-spring like loop bent into them as they leave the Master Cylinder. They are there to provide give for frame/body flex so the brake lines are not under stress, which could eventually cause the brake lines to crack. You can do it without the loops but would be nice to keep them there if possible.

Re: Brake Line Question
Why don't you want to run the entire 87 brake line system ? The proportioning valve mounts cleanly down on the little crossmember just like it did on the 87. Then you can run all of the lines, unmodified, from the 87 all the way out to the rubber hoses and calipers, from firewall to the wheels. It's a nice easy retrofit.

Re: Brake Line Question
That 'looped' line is also the same as a 69 Camaro with some minor adjustments Yes, I'd put it in there.
