sandblasting san jose/milpitas

I picked up some rusty cross sills for my bed wood project and they need a good blast before paint. Anyone know a decent sandblast shop in the North San Jose area?

In the old days, I'd whup out the ol' yellow pages and look under S. Today though - and thanks to modern technology - it's hit the search engine and sift through 75 pages of unrelated, or non-local bs.

Man, I miss the (real) yellow pages. That's one good thing the internet just completely destroyed.

Yeah,I kept my old Yellow Pages when the new one came and was so much smaller. It's getting old and newer listing won't be in it,but most businesses are still there with the same number. I'm just grateful I already have my connections with numbers in my own phone book.
Sorry can't help with the San Jose area.

I use the White Pages app on my iPhone & iPad. I haven't opened a phone book in years.

Re: sandblasting san jose/milpitas

I'm gonna let you in on the best kept secret about media blasting around san jose. There's a place called Accu-Burr Metal Finishing. Their primary business is metal castings and to do this they have media blasting capability.

On the side they will media blast anything for a very reasonable hourly rate. I've seem entire car bodies there being done. I personally used them on many things including a 1969 firebird subframe, wheels and our entire 1967 truck after we blew it apart, including a cherry fleetside longbed (with metal floor) that I picked up for $200.

Steve Berard is the owner. Location is 1522 Berger Drive in SJ. 408.998.7172

Tell him Richard sent you.

A couple pics of parts media blasted at Accu-Burr Metals. Yes, that is Cali metal - the kind we LOVE!!

About 3,000 miles from San Jose, but I use a memorial/tombstone place. Just a general tip for about anywhere. Some may not,but when business is slow they may change their tune.
