Battery is dead after sitting for a while...
So I did a search on this and it told me to do the following... I unhooked negative cable and hooked up 12 volt test light between it and negative cable, and then I went to fuse block and took out all fuses and any other wire hooked to fuse block, key is off and test light is still on indicating something is still drawing on battery........where to I go from here???

Re: Battery is dead after sitting for a while...
[QUOTE=Mister-B;6053324]I would remove the battery and take it to autozone or another parts store that can test it. I bet the battery is toast
Posted via Mobile Device[/ So I am right that test light should not be on with everything in fuse block unhooked???? I'm 1.5 hours away from a auto parts store so I will just swap the battery out and see it test light is off between neg cable and post, that should prove battery is toast. Posted via Mobile Device

che k the voltage regulator it doesn't run through the fuse box and I've seen them get stuck and create a draw.

Re: Battery is dead after sitting for a while...
Ok hooked up another battery and test light comes on between neg cable and neg post so it's not the battery. I unhooked the two wires on top of alternator and light goes off, so as far as I can tell its the regulator on the rad support that's stuck and creating a draw. Does this make sense?....or is the alternator?....
