xs-style's drop (above) is exactly what I would do for a budget drop that would still ride OK.
If you have a couple hundred then get the drop spindles for sure.
I would caution you though about using drop spindles AND drop (or cut) springs over 2 inch drop. (springs that is)
I found out the hard way with my 3" drop spindles and DJM 3" drop springs running a 15 inch tire my lower control arms made contact with one of those 1 inch thick iron plates they put over trenching on the highway. When I saw the bump I instinctively hit my brakes causing the front to dive....well it wasn't pretty. Bent frame, totalled truck.
Broke that habit now I hit the gas over bumps.
My point is that combo lowers control arms very close to ground. I know most all you guys know this already. This is ment for the new guy

xs-style's drop does not need any body mods either
