Re: 67-68's lowered 4/6

I'm surprised no one has posted a pic yet. If nobody posts any pics, keep searching the boards. There's a "Sticky" thread for Static Dropped C10's in the Suspension sub-forum that may have plenty of pics you're looking for. I'll see if I can dig up some threads and post links for you in a little while.

Most importantly, Welcome to the board!! I hope you enjoy your stay here, and feel free to ask any questions you have.

Here's mine, this is as low as I can get it in the front without rubbing on 20's. It will actually hit on a hard bump.

Great looking truck.

Would be nice to know what your drop is. I like these threads and am always looking for pics and info to make decisions. Please post drop front and rear and how it was done (spindles plus spring, bags, etc.) and tire and wheel size and offset!

Re: 67-68's lowered 4/6

Sorry, I didn't have much time to post last night but I wanted to get the picture up for ya.

Here's the spec's

'72 suspension

Front-2 1/2" drop spindles, 2" springs, 20X8.5" Boss 338's with 245/45/20's

Rear-6" springs and 1" block with c-notch, 20X10 Boss 338's with 295/45/20's with 1" spacer

I can't remember the offset of the 338's but they only come one way unless they changed them since I did mine. There's a thread on here somewhere about making the 338's fit.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: 67-68's lowered 4/6

I had a72 with almost the exact drop on it as MRH33916 68. The front tires also hit on my truck a little. My 67 has about a 4/6 drop and i went with 40 series tires. It doesnt hit in front. Hope this helps.
