So I need to replace my rear leaf springs which currently also have a 4" BLOCK as well. I bought the blazer from a guy who told me there was 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift (so total of 9")

So...if I remove the 4" block shouldn't that mean that I should order 6" rear leaf springs (to get rid of block)??

..OR should I go with 4" springs and see what happens (perhaps add 1-2" block if needed)??

Trying to keep cost down so don't want to have to keep buying different u-bolts etc...

i would assume that you need to order the 6 inch spring

thanks, one more clue though. My shocks (I think old discontinued trailmaster) have collapse height of 15.25" and extended 25.25"

I'm not sure, but maybe if you measured the distance between the wheel center, to the bottom of the wheel arch, someone else could measure their 6" springs the same way to determine if that's what you have.

A good way to tell is take a string from each eye on the leafspring where the bolt goes through, then measure from the BOTTOM of the spring where it sits ontop of your lift block to string.

Thanks everyone, I have the axle housing out of it right now being fixed, but when I do the eyelet to bottom of springs (not compressed) I am seeing around 10"....thus I would think 4" of compression should be as much as it would go, making it a 6" spring.
