67 stock wheels

Ok I have measured my stock 67 2 wheel drive wheels to the ralleys I have on the 72 4x4 and it looks like they will fit on the 72 4x4. Did all the wheels interchange from 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive from 67 through 72 if they are 6 hole. I was going to try tomorrow to see if it clears the caliber. Unless you guys say I am wasting my time.

Re: 67 stock wheels

I once thought wheels from a 70 would work on a 71....didn't clear and just locked the front wheels. You could try if you like, its just time, but If they were before 71 they wont clear.

Re: 67 stock wheels

Disc brake ones from the 72 should fit but the early ones usually lock up against the calendar.

Re: 67 stock wheels

If they are ralley wheels then they will fit because all ralley wheels were made after 72 so they will clear your brakes. If the are stock 70 and older wheels then no they won't clear.

I just learned the hard way 6 lug drum wheels wont fit on the front of disc brake trucks.
