another rim ?

Can you guys tell me what size rims are available (aftermarket) for my 67 c-30 I see everybody talkin bout the 16's and the 16.5's and the 19.5's. I guess I'm wondering if they make a 20 inch dually rim.

This might be what your looking for,
I know 16, 16.5 and 19.5 all came stock at one time or another, but never seen a stock 20 dually wheel, you'd have to go after market.

Re: another rim ?

Not sure about aftermarkets, but I would only put 16 Inch Wheels on my truck.

Those aftermarkets in the link sure seem expensive.

...then you buy Tires.

20 Inch Tires to boot.

They also sound expensive.

I'm going with Stock or Stock type Wheels and reasonable 16 Inch Tires. Still may try to get Bandag Re-Caps for the Rears. I would use them years ago. Good looking tires that would last a long time for a great price.

You could always go with Chrome Simulators to dress them up.

Re: another rim ?

Some of the old mail trucks (P30 chassis) used to have factory 19.5 that would bolt right on your c-30, plus you can get simulators for them as well, but 19.5's are kinda expensive (I bought a set for my old dodge motorhome a while back), guess it boils down to what you gonna use it for and how deep is your wallet. I do have a set of 19.5 super singles of a 3/4 ton tow truck, they ride like there made of rock, but I haven't been able to overload them yet.

Re: another rim ?

The reason im asking is that my c-50 has really good 20 inch tires on it, and thought about getting 20 inch rims i would save alot of cash going this route, but am nervous about getting the right fit as im new to the dually world. I see people talkin about 9/16 wheel studs and the right fitting rim.

Re: another rim ?

The 20 Inch Tires on your C-50 will most likely be way too big for your C-30.

When people put 20 Inch Tires on their Cars and Pick-ups, they are very Low Profile Tires. Either that or they need to raise them up about 2 Foot.
