1988 serpentine

Question: Will this serpentine system from a 1988 1/2 ton 350 Silverado work
on by 1970's small block? It's not the aluminum type brackets, as you can see..

It will work, even without seeing it. You need to change your non-SP water pump to the SP waterpump.

As jay mentioned- yes it will work, by changing out the water pump to a reverse rotation type. Also, you may need to switch out the hose fitting in the back of the power steering pump, if you have the old style flare fitting hose ends.

It should work and be the same as long as you have threaded holes on your 70's heads. check this helpful link... http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles...e/viewall.html
