There are two small wires -- a purple and a white I believe -- that hook up to the starter. One on each of the small posts to each side of the battery wire, but I don't remember which.

Also, there are a couple of wires on the other harness the other direction past the headlights, above the radiator, and hook to an insulated post on the fender next to the battery.

I'm not sure which one powers the cab, my memory says it's the one off of the starter, but I may be remembering my '75. My tiny brain again!

Here's how you get power to the cab. There is a black plastic terimal on the front of the passenger side fender. There is a wire that comes off the positive battery cable hook it up to the terminal on the fender. Ther is a heavy red wire that also hooks up to the fender terminal. This heavy red wire is the wire that runs power back to the cab. If you are using and HEI, there aore only two wires you need to hook up to the starter. The heavy purple wire and the positive battery cable. The heavy pruple wire hooks up to the terminal on the starter solenoid that is closest to the engine block. You can discard the yellow wire that was hooked up to the coil and the other terminal on the starter when you were using the points ignition.

Sorry Kyle,
No pics. I went with a painless wiring harness. It's a little different.
Thanks, Greg

The second wire mentioned for the starter should be deleted on your truck since you have HEI. It would have been yellow and would have gone from the R terminal to the Positive on the coil...but that don't matter.
The purple wire goes on the S terminal of your starter.
The rest should be like in the picture.
