overhead console?
I was looking at this truck on ebay and noticed an overhead console in it. Did our truck come with these? Or is this something added? Just wondered.

That is one of those plastic aftermarket console/headliner hybrids. From what I heard they are not of a very nice quality.

I have started to build a custom overhead console for my 85. Im not to hip on cutting the dash so I am building a console overhead for my CD player and CB. Since it is a 4X4 I cant put one on the floor and have any room for the shifter to work. When I get it don I will post some pics.

I am looking at making one for the roof of my 72. I once saw one in a 79 that looked great!! It was all molded into a headliner and then upholstered to match the seat. Very tastefully done

Arveetek has a sweet one in his truck. He had built it himself and looks great. He has it for his cb as well as some switched for misc. things.

I picked up mine from Steel Horse. Pretty solid and color matches good.
