Ride height question

Have a question about ride height. The plan was to use 2 1/2" drop spindles on the front and, nothing on the rear. Now, I'm thinking about besides the drop spindles, I'm going to get two more inches with drop springs plus, going with two inches on the rear. Question is, will I have any problems with wheel clearance in front and, will the drive shaft be OK as far as pinion angle? Thanks for any help.

Re: Ride height question

No problem with tire clearance in the front unless you`re running disc brakes with wheels wider than eight inch....rear will not be a problem with pinion angle.

Re: Ride height question

Depending on what type of wheel (steel or aluminum) you're going to run in the front, you may or may not have any issues. The factory 15" steel wheels can sometimes be a issue with drop spindles, and you might have to do a little grinding on the edge of the lower control arm adjacent to the lower ball joint area. It's not a big deal to fix.
