did they ever make a 3/4 SWB 4x4
I dont believe they ever made this but was curious in either a GMC or Chevy
In the 67-72 style? If I remember correctly my dad had one about 20 years ago but I think the frame was cut but I was much younger then. Thanks Dave

All 3/4 tons were LWB, wheter 2wd or 4x4 (with the exception of longhorns, which were even longer). Of course you could slice the frame and make a custom one.....

Instead of splicing a frame it would be much easier to just bolt in 3/4 ton running gear on a swb 4x4.

I've often wondered about this - I saw a very clean blue/white swb k20 for sale ($4500) in Redding, CA in 1976 or 1977, before I bought my truck. It looked & sounded fantastic but I thought it was a bit too pricy for me at the time.

It had to have been a custom...they never did build them.
I knew od a sweet GMC SWB 4X4 in Tx but after ppl here told me it was fake I spoke to the owner and he confirmed it. |

my 65 4x4 was a 3/4 shortstep from the factory but my grandfather custom ordered it that way i think it was a 1/2 swb frame with heavier gear
