85 with LT-1

Anyone put a corvette lt-1 in mid 80s chevy?? I am looking at one And wondered what headers will fit. Probably will buy the truck, just planning for down the road. Thanks

Most 1 7/9 sbc headers work well with the LTI, and I think other recommend Corvette style more for true LT1 headers.

This is in my top 3 for swaps on my truck.

I've got full length headers on the lt1 in my 81. A bit a tight fit to get them in but they're in there. No modifications necessary.

I have an LT1 from a 95 Z-28 in my 77. It has full length headers. They are a pretty tight fit. Difficult to change plugs...

I have a Lt1 out of a vette in my 85 chevy c10 the picture I have is a little small ill upload a better one tomorrow if you'd like. they are standard sb chevy headers it is hard to change some plugs but not that bad. its worth it in my mind.
