Give me a weekend with some 1500 / 2000 / 2500 and a buffer ..I could do wonders for this ole truck.

Yikes.. look how close the rear wheels are to the inner wheel houses. It looks like the whole rear axle is shifted forward too much.

Cut down long bed maybe?

I think this dealership has sold a few that are cut down. They had one a while back that was similar.

The Model Number will tell the axel to cab dimension which equates to the Wheelbase on Cab and Bed Models. The MN is on the SPID but the pic of the SPID is to blurry to read on this one. Another place the MN can be found sometimes is, written in grease pencil on the firewall. On this truck two of the pics show the grease pencil markings on the firewall. Those appear to be original and the MN is CE10934.

C = 2wd
E = V8
1 = 1/2 Ton
09 = Axel to Cab 54" to 59" = WB 127' on Cab and Bed Models = Longbed
34 Fleetside

Funny how the only blurry pic is the SPID sheet. It also has leaf springs in the rear.

Still a good looking truck. I no way accusing him of trying to sell it as something it's not / mis-representing it .. someone may have sold it to him that way.

Still a cool old truck but I'm not sure all the bidders know it's not a real SWB. Just another reason I value my $25 membership fee every day!

Does this apply for GMC too?

It was funny that the ONLY picture that was fuzzy was the most important one!

This is a hack job, and I think the seller knows it. Notice how prominent the "$1000 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT" line is in the ad. I think it might be less then what it seems.

It will sell fine just let everyone know what it is, so no one gets burned.

Yes, but the code is different, 59 for GMC 09 for Chevy
