4.3L & V8 4L60E's all have the same number of clutches. "245mm" 4L60E's did use fewer clutches. (i.e. 2.2L, 2.5L, 3.4L & 3.8L used in S-10 & 4th gen F-bodies)
'93-'02 4.3L, 5.0L, & 5.7L use a "295mm" 4L60E. 98-present Gen III engines use a "300mm" 4L60E. '03 & up 4.3L's use a 295mm/300mm hybrid of sorts & have not really checked them out....But they are different. |
