Crushed Door Post/Pillar

I have a 73 Stepside and my daughter side-swiped a mailbox monolith, tearing out the passenger side of the truck. I easily replaced the front and rear fenders, but the door post is really a mess. The striker does not align with the door any longer (replaced door too). From about 12" above the striker to the level of the rocker panel, the pillar is a crumpled mess.

I cut out the bad metal, but am having trouble finding any panels to use to reconstruct this.

Any leads on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Crushed Door Post/Pillar

You may just have to transplant from a donor cab off Craigslist or the wrecking yard.

Re: Crushed Door Post/Pillar

You should be able to graft in a good pillar from a donor cab...I could have sworn I did see those parts sold somewhere, I will dig around. In the build section of the forum there is a guy that grafted an entire floor section onto his upper...just gotta plan it correctly.
