66 stock power steering stuff - does anyone ever look for this stuff?
As i make progress on my 66 project, i'm throwing stuff in a pile. Part of that pile is the complete factory power steering setup off of my truck, minus the hoses, pump, and pump to engine brackets. It's the assist ram, the bracket it mounts to, tie rods and sleeves, drag link, pitman arm, etc.
I don't want to waste time putting a classified ad up and pictures etc if they're just going to go out with the scrap drums and stock springs, etc.

I needed all that stuff 2 weeks ago for my 66 C30. Didn't find it for sale here but did find remanufactured for sale.
The parts also fit vettes and Impalas. Posted via Mobile Device

Well that certainly opens up the audience that would need these parts, i better save them then. Hate to toss parts someone really could need.
Isn't that how it goes? Right after you buy what you need new, you find what you were looking for after.

This board is great for finding stuff. A nice alternative to searching CL and ebay. Often times one members leftovers are just what another is looking for. I'm presently looking for all related factory power brake and power steering parts as well, so never junk stuff before asking if anybody wants it.

Re: 66 stock power steering stuff - does anyone ever look for this stuff?
Well this wasn't really a classified ad, and it's in the wrong section, sorry if i broke any rules, it was accidental. If anyone here wants the stuff (except for the spacer between the idler arm lower bolt hole and frame, i lost it but you could easily make or find one) PM me, and if not i will put an ad up over in the right section later. Glad i didn't toss anything out!
OEM4ME: I am likely putting a new power booster and master on (i think i can swap a dual 7 or 8" diaphragm and standard 2 circuit master onto my sideways factory power brake bracket and bolt it right up). They worked all the way home from california, but are ugly, if you want them PM me. I still need the bracket, don't think there's anything else power brake related coming off the truck. I know those two parts are east to find new, but figured i'd ask before pitching those too.
