Lunati Voodoo

I'm looking into ordering a new cam for my 350. I've been doing some research, and I've read good things. Do any of you have experience with them? The specific one I've been looking at is here

Re: Lunati Voodoo

Here's basically the same cam from Jegs. You'll have to buy lifters though. Ther made in USA. I just put the same cam in my 283 only the next step down. I haven't had it in very long but I like it so far.

Re: Lunati Voodoo

I've had the Lunati Voodoo in my Big Block and it was better than any Comp Cam I've ever Run. I now have Lunati's version of the BB cam that came in the 1969 Chevelle SS (Solid Lifter) and absolutely Love it

Re: Lunati Voodoo

The voodoo line of camshafts were designed by Harold Brookshire formerly of Ultradyne camshafts, he is a genius when it comes to cam profiles and I believe there is nothing off the self that can touch his profiles.

Re: Lunati Voodoo

It's been ordered! Would you guys recommend new valve springs with this as well? Or, since it's not a very big cam, will they be adequate.

Re: Lunati Voodoo

i personally would get new springs.. they are probly quite old and used up, IF they even have clearance before bind.. its one of those "might as well do it right" things

Re: Lunati Voodoo

Just to keep the anticipation of what you are in store for, here's a video of a Lunati Voodoo cam in my 383 stroker with Corsa exhaust:

Ran like a scalded ape, would be an understatement.
