87 K20 with a 6.2 diesel, TH400, 4.11 gears, stock height tires (31" or so), pulling gooseneck horse trailer (combined truck/trailer weight of about 12,500#). I'm getting 11-13 mpg. I just got the truck a little while ago and couldn't believe these figures when I calculated it out. It's about the same as my 72 C20 gets empty...with a fresh tune... Maybe it's the 80 psi in the tires...
