Re: djm lower control arm shock mounting
Do you have any pics?
Does it have a bolt or a shock stud?

Re: djm lower control arm shock mounting
I had the same problem when I installed my djm arms. I just took out the metal insert on the shock and it fit. I also had to buy different size of spacers.
It was kinda frustrating, but I did this on a Sunday and needed the truck for Monday so I didn't call jdm to ask about it.

Re: djm lower control arm shock mounting
djms have a regular bolt with a spacer that goes into a threaded part of the a-arm.

Re: djm lower control arm shock mounting
Old thread, I know. I'm running into this issue now too. It was my stopping point for yesterday.

Re: djm lower control arm shock mounting
It was pressed in? How was it adhered to the rubber portion around the bushing? Unfortunate. Im going to try to press mine out before drilling. But thanks for the help, I'll probably do the same.

Re: djm lower control arm shock mounting
they are belltech shocks and i could not press out the bushing-it was like the rubber was poured around the bushing.i just drilled it to 5/8 and there is still bushing material left.but you shocks may be differnt.

Re: djm lower control arm shock mounting
I drilled mine out, forgot what size bit I used. After a while the bushing and rubber got hot and then bushing came out.
