original or not?

i found these all around small window they look like the back part of snapping buttons.not sure what there for,anybody know?are they original ????

My 70 had those when a camper was on the back. Connects the cab to the camper; access tunnel sorta.

yep - I have them on both a 71 and a 72, both trucks had campers. You could run no back window and have the camper connected into the cab and snapped in to allow access front to back, etc. I sure wish mine DIDN'T have them, but, looks better than just the holes and I don't exactly feel like welding them all shut.

The piece that snapped in between the cab and camper shell was usually made of vinyl and referred to back then as a "boot".
