Minor junkyard score: '60-'61 Chevrolet Script glove box trim

Went to my local junkyard that has been pretty good for me... There was a '60 short/step that is someone's basket-case abandoned project. Roof lip was rotted away, even the edge of the dash was rotted away. Not a salvageable body panel on it.

The 4-headlight grill is in good shape, and I've got a pair of good trim rings to go with it.

The heart-breaker is that the back of the cab has the holes for the chrome trim going above the bed, but the trim piece is gone. (I scored another from this yard last year).

The dash face is in good shape with the radio mounting hole, so I might go back and cut that out when I get the grill.

But the score today was the glovebox door with the Chevrolet script piece of trim. The whole thing was sprayed with red oxide primer, but there are no pits or blisters on the trim--just have to delicately remove it and strip the paint. Anybody know how that little piece of trim is secured?

$3 for the whole glove box door.

-Brad

Very nice score.
The emblem is secured through the front face of the door with a one-time use spreading thingy that goes around the emblem studs. They expand when initially pushed into the holes in the door. The emblem can carefully be removed by gently prying between the emblem and the door face, at the emblem studs. CAREFULLY.
You will need to drill a couple of holes in the backside of the door to resecure the emblem pins.
Greg.

Excellent. Thanks.
I think there are only two studs, is that correct?

All the others I've come across in the bone yards are always busted from people trying to pry them off.
