Re: Props at shows? Cheesy?
Sometimes I haul a bike... And there was a big discussion over on the hamb about how some guys thought it was stupid to have a bike in the back of a truck at shows... but you know what? I collect bikes! How many opportunities do you think I get to show em off from time to time if I don't bring one to a cruise-in! LoL!
Accessories and props are like anything... sometimes less is more... don't get to carried away with it. If someone doesn't like it... they can keep moving... |

Re: Props at shows? Cheesy?
My all stock 2nd owner 65 beetle I have factory/dealer installed options like spare tire wheel mounted tool kit ,a VWoA roof rack which comes in handy with my chairs etc .
The one thing thats both a great prop and very useful is a period correct Zero Halliburton aluminum luggage set ($20 yard sale find) that I can put all my cleaning stuff in , tools, extra parts, oil, rain gear, coats ,sun screen . everything is out of site but right there when needed fits right in and looks much nicer then that ugly milk crate sitting in back or behind your ride .
