Cylinder head question
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/su...et?prefilter=1
would this product be a direct bolt on for a stock 350? took my old heads to a reputable machine shop and the right was no good to resurface and after some research found out buying brand new assembled heads would be a little more then having a full valve job done on old head plus finding another head to be reworked. has anyone used this product before? what are your thoughts on it? thanks in advanced!

Re: Cylinder head question
Its a direct bolt on.If you can find one get it with the smaller 64cc combustion chambers.

Re: Cylinder head question
you indicate stock 350...you may want to consider a bit more if you want to take advantage of the 2.02 heads that you are looking at. Just mho

Re: Cylinder head question
I'm assuming price is what drove you in finding those. The 76cc chambers will kill performance on many engines. Unfortunately those aren't very much like the original 202 fuelie heads. The dart iron eagle is a good series to run the trickflow heads come in at $1000 even and will give you a good kick in the pants to boot

Re: Cylinder head question
thank you all for the advice and information. time is the biggest issue right now. im moving to Colorado July 8th. i discussed the issue with my dad and im just going to pull the heads off another 350 we have lying around and get her ready for the trip. i don't want to freshen up the top end and not touch the bottom. im just going to wait until i get settled in Colorado and build her up just right, have you guys ever thought of turbo charging?

Re: Cylinder head question
Turbocharging is a great way to get everything you can want from an engine. Life gas mileage power and fun.
do a lot of research and figure out what you want to run. And a neat concept for you. HP doubles at about 15psi. Look up wrench rat twin turbos Posted via Mobile Device
