Rear window slide to solid swap question?
Ok, so im putting a solid window in my truck, i removed the sliding window set up, the rubber surrounding does not fit from the sliding onto the solid.. it is set up for the tracking system, its way to wide.. then you try to makeshift the old tracking system to fit it and it doesn't work the windows a bit too tall? it seems like there is only one type of window seal you can get for these trucks... so im a bit confused what I'm missing. any help would be great thanks!

Re: Rear window slide to solid swap question?
LMC should have the correct gasket but I've changed a solid window to a slider and used the same gasket without a problem

Re: Rear window slide to solid swap question?
Ya, thats what i thought. but i have my new rubber from my slider. but the gap that the window fits into in the rubber is 1/2" wide, to make soom for the slide window track and surrounding, when the window is only 1/8". when installed there is a big space imbetween.
