Look up steeringcolumnoligst on Ebay. He's the guru on these things. I got mine from him rebuilt (tilt column with shifter on it) for $115 shipped. He may have one for you.

I've got one from a 1976 C25. Its a floor shift column. Its solid but could use a new steering wheel as it is quite weathered. $50 USD + shipping. If you want, I can take her apart and greace all the bearings up and stuff, as well as test the electrical (it has the turn signals, hazards and horn in the column, wipers and lights are in the dash) Unfortunately, it isn't a tilt style column, and I wouldn't be able to get it for you until after Christmas.

Can do, I'm not 100 % sure about the weight of it though, so I may have to get back to you right after Christmas.

Russell, if you want to give him a DECENT estimate try a box 8x8x40 and appx. 20#. thats with removing all the stalk and wire tying it to the column for shipping. the steering wheel of course would have to be removed. there is a small hole in the plate under the steering wheel. you line up the hole in that plate and you can remove the turn signal stalk. just pad up the area of the cylinder. Even as well as I package they managed to break the ears off the cylinder on one I shipped. DAVE

20 lbs sounds about right... I'm quite good with taking these things apart and stuff, I would have it partially dissassembled when I shipped it to prevent any major damage, then I can help him reassemble it later on...

I'm in Canada, my postal code is T8E-2C8. I would probally be shipping FedEx... With the given dimensions, it appears shipping will be from 35 - 40 dollars CND. Lets say $70 shipped. You pay 70, I'll deduct shipping costs from that amount.

Without sending the steering wheel, it will be quite easy to ship as far as packaging is concerned...
