anyone not running the backing plate

Just wanted to know if it cleaned up the look much and did you get any side affects

If its a daily driver... Leave them on. Keeps dirt and grime out of the bearing seals and such...

Been without them for 13 years. No problems.
If you have inner fenders I say leave them. Can't see them anyways.
Without inner fenders they are ugly so trash them.

Oh yeah, i'm really a Chevy guy, toyotas we melt down for beer cans.

But seriously I don't plan on running an inner fender and thought it would look better without them, then starting thinking do I really need it
