He probably bought it mostly done, and for the things he wanted to add... Ordered it all from LMC, and had his handyman install the stuff.

Get my drift? He probably didn't want to talk, because he doesn't know anything about it, and probably knew that would become evident, so he put up a wall

Re: Really Disappointed

You learn through experience what to buy and what not to buy from LMC.
Once you figure it out they can be a very good source for hard to find parts.

You're too sensitive, man. Where in my comment did I say anything derogatory about LMC? They are the largest and most well known parts vendor for these trucks. Just because you live down the street from them, and have lots of their parts on your truck, doesn't mean you need to be all defensive of them. Especially when nothing bad was said.

Re: Really Disappointed

No you know you posted it to sound like some rich dumbass is all that would buy from them and then he would pay someone esle to do the install because he had know clue how to do it.

every time someone brings them up you jump on the bash wagon, would be one thing if you had bought from them and got some bad crap.

I bought my truck completely done, I did everything on my chevelle except paint. When I bought my truck I had more cash than time. I hope that doesn't make me a douche.

That's not what I meant, so don't put words in my mouth. Yes, god forbid I made one or two comments on another thread that I don't care for LMC's quality. I've seen trucks with their parts installed. I've talked to friends with 67-72's that bought from them that were not happy. Just because I'm not willing to now spend my own money to learn a lesson I've already learned through them doesn't make me unqualified to have an opinion about them. I'll tell you what gets old, is your defensive posture with them. Get over it. We have a difference of opinion. Move on.

Only if you bought your parts from LMC......

Kidding

No, sounds like you know what you're doing. The guy at this parade doesn't sound like he did. But, hey- how the blasted hell can we know for sure? The guy that started the thread seemed to be bummed, so I was offering a possible answer. Sue me

Good lord. I didn't bash LMC in this thread! You talk about grade school, and yet your reading comprehension apparently is lacking.

Be a man and be sure of yourself, but at the same time be open to enlightenment.

Sorry won't post again, just I did not like the way he implied that if you bought from LMC that you had no clue how to install or build a truck and then the fact he has never even bought from them to have first hand knowledge to know if their parts are any good or not.
. Anyone else could have said it but he meant it the way he posted it "get my drift" . Could have been no planer.

For the last time, that's not what I was thinking and not what was intended.

Move on.
