Painted Round Mirrors

Im looking to paint my new round mirrors. The Heads white and the arms to match the truck. I was wanting to know if you painted the stem that comes out the back of the mirror head, that attaches to the arm. If anyone has pictures that would be great.

Getting so close to being done.

Re: Painted Round Mirrors

Unbolt the head and paint the arm body color. If I find a good original picture I will post it later.

So, when you say stem, are you referring to the acorn nut on the back? If so, I think you'll have a hard time tightening that up afterwards without it cracking the paint. I'd leave it stainless. Would probably look better. Also, you might have a hard time getting the arms to match the paint on the body of the truck. If so, you might just got with stainless all around. I'm pleased with mine
