i have heard that chevelle headers work and tuck higher. but i have never seen it. give it a shot

BBC chevelle hedders will work. SBC will too, but you might need to modify the corner of the clamshell motor mount on the drivers side. I used some from a 55-57 chevy and thats what I had to do.

El camino and Chevelle are the same. So should fit just fine if its said Chevelle headers fit
