New to me 70 4x4 SPID questions, sort of

I recently acquired a pretty decent 70 K10 project that has spent many years sitting in a partially disassembled state. I want to keep it stock, on a budget. It has apparently been repainted once and has some repaired collision damage. I have some questions regarding things listed on the SPID.

First off, I am trying to determine what the mirrors it came with should look like. There were some in the truck but I don't know if they were the ones it came with.

Secondly, what does "gold vinyl trim" include? There was no seat in the truck and the door panels aren't gold.

And last, for now, would the lower trim listed on the SPID be the black and aluminum trim? I ask because it has some of that, but a woodgrain tailgate band which I don't think came on the truck (it covered up a GMC tailgate).

Thanks.

Frank

Your truck had the DG4 stainless below eye line mirrors (tripod).

The gold vinyl trim is a darker color than parchment. Here is a thread where we beat it to death.

The lower trim has a black center and you would not have a tailgate band just the upper and lower moldings with painted letters. White in this case IIRC.

Might look through this thread for an idea on how your truck looked too. It was a solid Med Bronze (copper) with lower black filled trim and a gold vinyl interior.

The interior you have looks pretty close to stock in that picture. The mat is correct and even the belt look right. The wheel and dash pad are going to be two different shades of sandalewood instead of the black there now.

Awesome information Tim. The pictures of the mirrors confirmed that I have the stock ones. The picture of the Bronze K10 confirmed that I am probably not going to want to part with this one. I can already see myself driving it. Frank

Those SWB saddle tanks are very hard to find. Be worth cleaning them up.

I think the bronze and gold is an awesome combination.

I wasn't too happy about the bed sides being cut up for the tanks. However, I do go places where the extra capacity might be nice.
