Yes those are the ones you want. I have Flowtech 67 camaro shorty headers on mine. Fits perfect and tucks into the frame nicely.

Re: What Headers will work???

That seems like a good price for ceramic pipes - can anyone who has used these comment on the quality? I'm running the rusty long pipes that I got with my engine and would love to go to ceramics.

Re: What Headers will work???

Is there any mounting issues with the Alternator and A/C mounts when running header like this?

Re: What Headers will work???

Well I read this thread and went out and bought these headers ten minutes later They are really nice looking for the price but mine didn't exactly fit. They do now but
I had to notch both sides of my motor mount perches or they would have never fit. Also on the pass side the header pipe is about one hair width away from my frame rail.Barely see light through the space. I have brand new motor mounts so I know thats not the problem. Anyways they fit now but I may have to shave a little off the top frame rail it turns into a problem. Also they gave me one header bolt up ring thats 3" and one that 2.5" so I have to get them to send me another 3" before I can hook them up to my exhaust. I of course have no idea how they will hold up but the price is sure right. If your really picky they may not be for you as you can see bending marks etc from the forming process but its not a big deal to me, just wish they had sent me all the right parts and if I didnt have to get out the plasma! Also I am running a serpentine belt set up so I have no comment about the alt or ac brackets.

Re: What Headers will work???

By the way I installed them in a 1970 C10 350/4l60e. And the vender does not mention our trucks as an option for these. I just didnt want to blame the manufacturer for not fitting.

Re: What Headers will work???

I wonder about fitment also, the only question I have not seen is is there a issue between auto and manual tranny setups?

Re: What Headers will work???

I dont know about the manual but with the auto there is no interference once you get away from the motor perches. Its really easy to imagine how they could have fit perfectly if they made really minor adjustments, but I doubt our trucks were even on there radar at the time of design. I still don't regret my purchase. When the engine comes back out I will re weld and fix my perches to look right again. And I now ordered some of those Header Buddies for the ends so I can eliminate the flange gaskets. Hopefully they will seal well.

Re: What Headers will work???

What is the difference between headers for 67-72,73-87, & 88-95 has anyone tried 73-87 or 88-95 headers on 67-72 trucks with sbc motor?

Re: What Headers will work???

I just installed some on my C20. They are coated and look to be of good quality. I don't have a sense of durability yet as they just went on and I've only put on an hour tuning and 10 miles or so. No leaks yet....YET. I got them from board member Tom K. He said he has sold many sets and no complaints.

They were inexpensive. Look good and both sides went in from the top. I have a 700R4 behind the 350 and no interference.

Sorry these are long tubes and I just saw the "I just don't want long tubes".

Who is the board member that you bought em from? I was looking at some ceramic summit long tube headers for $241.00.

Re: What Headers will work???

Sanderson is now making ceramic coated shorty headers to fit 60-73 C-10's.
Their part number is CC3158-DPSEC
While I don't think they are yet shown in the Summit Racing catalog, you can search under the part number. Get a hold of your wallet, Summit's price for a pair of these gems is $512.99.

Hedman is reportedly also making a ceramic coated header for our C-10's, but my research indicates that it's their standard duty header (PN 69026) that they ceramic coat. Summit's price is a mere $632.99. Wowzers!
