Exclamation 66 Door Glass Assembly

Question on door glass assembly. The seal at that holds the glass to the metal piece than runs on the window regulator is useless, do I need to replace the whole door glass assembly (from LMC - $110), or I can just get the glass and a seal, but where do I buy the seal. Thanks for all your help.

Re: 66 Door Glass Assembly

The original sealing material is a type of cork. But i eliminated that stuff. I just bought a 3m glass adheasive. Like used on new car windshields. I used it on my door glass and my vent windows.

Re: 66 Door Glass Assembly

Yup black urethane sealer is what I used but tape the glass off near where your using it so it doesnt get all over everything. Also, Wear gloves the whole time your using it because it will not come off your hands!!!
