Got a free bumper
A friend of mine gave me a new rear bumper with new mounting brackets and bolts, and I want to see what it would take to bolt it on my 60 GMC...without having to open the box up just yet. The bumper and stuff is for a 63-66 chevy/gmc truck. I was wondering if I could just buy the correct brackets for the GMC and be good? If not, I also have a 63 chevy truck that I could put it on. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Got a free bumper
Even with the other brackets it won't fit the earlier frame with out some work - different widths... 60-62 wider than the 63-66.
I'd slap it on the 63 and call it a day - jus say'n rg |
