pull noise

ive been hearing some kind of pulling and rubbing,noise coming from the rear especially when im taking off,it sounds like its coming from the rear axel.it doesnt do it all the time,its driving me nuts cuss i look underneath and do see anithyng unusual.the only thing i could think of is i installed new breaks in the rear and i didnt adjust the lever.could it be thats the problem??? please help.i thought its supposed to adjust on its own.

It could be that you installed the wrong side forward. it'll cause them to rub. The shoe with the most material goes in the BACK, not the front. Big in back, small in front. When you check it use the adjuster too while you're in there

thx for the tips,iadjusted lever and still does it.wish i had ears under neath while i drive it.

Did you check that the brake shoes are installed on the correct positions? Big on back, small on front?

Heres a thought:
Jack it up and put it on stands, then put the trans. in "N", then spin the rear tire or driveshaft by hand and listen for the noise....

i finally figured it out fellas with some help of course,my bushings on my trac bar were worn out,ooooofff what a pain.fyi just in case you run in the same situation.now does anyone know the size of the nuts that hold the bar on each end???
