blazer hatch problem
the fiberglass at the bottom of the back hatch for my dads 72 blazer is cracking so he was wondering if theres any easy fix or what other people did for it.
does anyone else have this problem?

they have stuff to fix fiberglass at auto parts store. can you take pictures and show us/

Unless you know what your doing I would not mess with fiberglass it is bad on the ol lung's.... In order to fix it your self you would have to get some kitty hair and glassing material's at a AUTO PAINT STORE the bondo fiberglass in a can is crap... You can also take the hatch in to a body shop it sound's like an easy fix..

Or if your Dad has $500 laying around that he wants to spend he can buy a new hatch. They are being reproduced now.

I took my top and hatch to a friend of mine who owns his own boat building business. It is beautiful now! Any place that redoes boats can work that fiberglass really nice...if you don't need it show quality tho, just daily driver I would try to rework it yourself with fiberglass like Frenchblue72 said. Good luck and take pics I would love a "how to" on this subject.
