Redid mine a month or so ago... cut out the bad and welded in new 1/8 inch plate on the vertical part of each arm. Drilled out rivets and used 9/16 and 1/2 inch bolts. I don't plan on drag racing, more of the home depot type trips. Not exactly stock but looks very stock to the occasional observer.
