Look What I Just Found!

I was going through my shed today and came across my original set of bumper guards. I must have thought they weren't good enough to put back on after I restored the truck. After close inspection, the only part of them that wasn't in really great shape was the guard to bumper molding but it was still good enough to put on. There must be a right and a left one because of the contour of the bumper, so I installed them to fit best. I think I'll keep them on.

Actually, these came off the original bumper which I'll take a closer look at tomorrow. At first glance, it looks perfect. I can't, for the life of me think of why I decided on getting a Repro.

Re: Look What I Just Found!

I generally don't like the bumper guards except on the stock restorations like yours or ones that are close. I like your rig

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Sounds like "Free Parts!" or "Brand New all over again!"

Either way, you win! Congrats!

Great rig you have there.
