What is the cab to axle measurement on a RC dually

Is it 56" and a C&C is 60". I am wondering because if I end up buying this 84 K30 then I thought it might be easier and cheaper to just change the rear end and put a dually bed on it. Of coarse now that I think about it the frame rails might be different widths being it is a C&C truck.

Re: What is the cab to axle measurement on a RC dually

Frame rail widths are all the same

Dually pickups with boxes are 56 in cab to axle...and use the wide track Dana 70

Cab and chassis are 60 or 72 inch cab to axle and use 14 bolt corporate rear end

Above only applies to reg cabs...all crew cabs are 56 inch cab to axle

So it is easy to swap rear axles to switch crewcabs from cab/chassis to dually pickup

Cab & Chassis are 60" and 84". All pickups with long bed are 56".

Re: What is the cab to axle measurement on a RC dually

Sorry, I should have updated since I found out the answer the other day. Although I didn't know about the 84" on C&C. That is probably what my other K30 is. Haven't measured it the whole time I have had it. Guess I am putting a flat bed on it instead of a pickup bed.

Thanks for the replies
