Thought I would add to this thread as well. I got a set of 3/4 ton springs and tossed them on. Looks a lot better. I haven't take it for a spin yet as it was a long day in the AZ heat. Passenger side was tough. Took forever to get the bolts out and even putting them back on was a PITA. I might replace the u-bolts and nuts and my air gun should have been enough to put them back on. I instead used a 1/2 ratchet and pipe to tighten it down. Oh well. I can finally put a full load in back and not worry about the bump stops. Sorry no pics but I am sure people on here know what I am talking about.

Finally installed my carpet, not sure why photo is sideways, it's right side up on my iPad

Thumbs up Re : Cab Carpeting

I can't tell you much I like this ! not only the RED
but also the proper full length carpet to the back of the floor ~ until you try this once , you cannot possibly imagine how much noise reduction this affords .

Sadly , my '69 is a Work Rig so no carpets , they'd be ruined in a week .

Thanks, i haven't driven it yet it's been raining here and suppose to for another day. Maybe mid week I'll get it out for a test run.
