Headers on an LS1 with Dropmember - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Has anyone seen or heard about Speed Engineering Headers. I'm building my dad a 67 C10 with a porterbuilt C4 dropmember. I am wondering if these headers will fit with his LS1. I think they might. Here is a picture of them. LS1tech is selling them for $229.

I'm not sure about those, but I'm pretty sure the headers for a 2010+ Camaro will.

Hart rod, 2010 camaro, haven't heard that one yet. Have you seen the them on dropmember truck? Does your son's truck have 2010 Camaro headers?

I have a set of the factory manifolds and the headers are a direct replacement. Check TSP website.

I tried the 2010+ camaro long tube headers on my dropmember/LS. They cleared ok but were in the way of the steering linkage.

Here is a picture of the BBK Camaro headers we sold to a customer. He is using a stock crossmember, but I almost positive, due to the shape of the headers, there will be no issue with a dropmember. He did have to just slightly clearance the frame a tad.

We ended up getting pacesetter for an 02 fbody. We had to put a small dent in one of the primaries. It hit the lower control arm mount. We have a c4 dropmember. I'm going to start a build thread soon.

I installed a 5.3 in my 68c10 and went with sanderson headers for a nova tight tuck application. No frame issues and the collector is pointing down and back at a 45 degree just past the back of the engine. I was thinking of possible ground clearance issues with your drop member. I realize my headers are shorties where the ones you are looking at are long tube. I believe i paid about 275.00 about 3 years ago. i made my own frame mounts and used the 2001 engine mounts and my engine balancer is about 1 inch away from the steering centerlink so my engine is sitting really low, that's why i opted for the shorties.
