Ac question
So im removing all of my ac components. Got under hood removed but can't figure out how to remove under the dash. Can anyone please help me? It throws coolant everywhere in cab at the moment. Thanks in advance for any info or help! Im quite the noob at all of this

If you are getting coolant in your cab your heater core is shot.

Im doin away all ac and heat. But cant figure out how to get the component that is under the dash on right side out. That's where im having trouble.

There are bolts on both sides.

If you remove the fasteners on the engine compartment side of the firewall, you can pull the AC evaporator. You'll have to go from the cab side (way up under the dash) to get the heater core out.

There's four bolts that hold the inside to the outside. You have to be able to get to both sides. It was not a problem for me, the engine and transmission were out, the front cap was off....piece of cake.
There are two holes on the bottom side of the evaporator housing. On each side of the housing, there's one that's closer to the top. Look at the picture and you can see the holes. If you click on it, you can make it bigger. If that doesn't work, then save it to your computer and open it and zoom in on it. If I was nice, I'd crop the picture and make it easier, but I'm an old ogre school bus driver meanie kinds of guy. Okay, I cropped it...so, study the holes...
