Anyone know their alignment angles?
I'm just curious what guys are running their alignment angles at on their trucks. I just lowered mine yesterday, and the alignment specs called for 0.25* camber on both sides, 0.38* total toe, and the machine didn't give me a caster spec. I didn't like either of those specs, but right now mine is set at -1.1* camber left & -1.2* camber right, 2.7* caster left & 3.3* caster right, and 0.16* total toe. The only thing I adjusted after the drop was total toe. I figured I'm getting new tires soon so I might as well run those camber numbers and see how it does, if it doesn't work out then I'll change camber when I get new tires.

Re: Anyone know their alignment angles?
Here's a thread on this.I assume BMERDoc is better versed in alignment than I am.Seems he found some info within the machine he uses.

Re: Anyone know their alignment angles?
When I aligned my stock height pickup, I set the camber to -.3, caster to +1.6 and the toe to slightly in. It drives nice and the steering wheel centers itself perfectly coming out of a corner.
You might have a little too much camber in yours. That may start to wear the inside edge of the tires. Your caster should be fine, it doesn't affect tire wear. More positive caster generally makes the steering wheel a little harder to turn, but makes it center itself better and more stable at higher speeds. I'd just run it and see how thing wear and how it drives. It looks like it would be pretty good. |

Re: Anyone know their alignment angles?
I think I'll probably end up changing my camber to -0.3 - -0.5 because when I make sharp turns in a parking lot it makes one tire sounds like its scrubbing across this ground.
