Intake manifold sealant on the wall

I've had pretty good luck w/ RTV but have experienced seepage after some years.
I've read many had great success w/ the Right Stuff.
OEM 1999 vortec 350 china wall sealant lost it's bond to the metal and seeped after some years. Not sure what kind of off white silicon looking sealant GM used in 99?

I may give The Right Stuff a go; am considering High Tack/Right Stuff sandwich.

I am considering a layer of Permatex High Tack on the flange before laying bead of the right stuff; one YouTube fellow does similar. Maybe high tack will bond to metal better and the right stuff will bond to high tack.

Does anyone know if the Right Stuff will bond to cleaned flange for many years?
Anyone heard of laying a layer of High tack under the right stuff or RTV?

Permatex Ultra Grey is the correct silicone for that application. It will not lose its bond if the surfaces are clean.

Re: Intake manifold sealant on the wall

Thanks. I did an Ultra Blue china wall about 3 years ago and it's still holding.
