check list
DOES ANYONE HAVE A CK LIST ON PREPING A TRUCK FOR PAINT SO NO STEPS ARE FORGOTTEN ( EXAMPLE HAVE GAS TANK FITTED FOR THE REAR BEFORE YOU PAINT THE FAME)

try searching the paint and body board, there are so many diff ways and opinions it would take hours to type. BTW Welcome to the board

HP Books sells a great book if you're just getting started on painting. Written by John Pfanstiehl. I got mine at Napa. It was only about $12.00 and well worth it...There is a lot to cover before you are ready to shoot paint.

i say start with a 180 grit and just work your way on up to say the 400s oh and clean,clean,clean, and clean some more also
