Chevy Trailblazer (Ignition Switch)

I have a 2002 Trailblazer, I'm on my 3rd ignition switch now, and it's starting to give trouble. It's only been on the truck about a week.

What are some things that can cause the ignition switch to continually go bad? Body control module possibly bad?

Are you using OEM parts?

I've used Ignition switches from Oreilly's and most recently NAPA. From what I understand from some of the trailblazer websites, the OEM ignition switch is a bad design, so it's not really an advantage to use it. I'm not certain though?
