help! questions about s10 frame swap.

Im sure this has been answered many a time before.. but for some reason im not seeing it currently.

A buddy and a I are in the process of mounting his 51 cab to an s10 frame. The difference with this build is its getting mounted to a 4wd frame which are a little taller under the cab area. Another problem is he doesnt have a set of running boards to help set the cab height of of.

So my main question is.. can anyone tell me what their measurement from the bottom of the rocker/door down to the bottom of the frame is? Im planning to set the running boards level with the bottom of the frame.

Re: help! questions about s10 frame swap.

Since you know where you want the running board to end up, wouldn't your result just be the height of the running board plus one inch (the space between the running board and the cab)?
